Sad, Sad Week and a year ahead...
Well the beginning of this school week finds me laying in my bed in my hotel room I am sharing with my boyfriend in Columbus, Georgia. He leaves for Afghanistan in a matter of two days, he was supposed to leave tonight but thankfully his flight got pushed off a few days. I am absolutely miserable. :o( All I can do is pray that he comes back to me safe, and somehow that doesn't feel like enough to me. I am just going to pour myself into my school work and hope that I can concentrate. Please keep my boyfriend in your thoughts and prayers.

Happy St. Patty's Day!!!!
Well I can't believe we are already in week four of our classes. Where does the time go. All I know is it needs to keep flying right on by, I will be a much happier girl when my boyfriend is home safe next March from Afghanistan. Being the daughter of parents who are in the military and the girlfriend of someone who is in the military, my emotions are always on super speed. I just try to keep positive and rely on friends and family to get me through.
School thus far is going well. I seem to be managing my time wisely and my grades are excellent, so I am very pleased with myself. We will see how thing's go when it is time to turn in my final projects. That thought is just scary.
Little Miss Ashlynne is doing well. Growing like a weed and driving her poor momma crazy, but that's what 4 year old little girls are supposed to do; or so I'm told that is. Lol. She and I are leaving for Ohio in the morning, oh what a drive that will be. Ashlynne is a flower girl in our cousin's wedding in May so we are going to get her dress and see a few family members this weekend. It should hopefully be a good time. :o) I am going to try to get as much homework and classwork finished tonight, so all I have to worry about is replying to my discussion posts. Even with having my laptop with me, I don't wan to get behind on my work.

It's a very rainy day....
Well another school week has begun, and it is a perfect day to sit inside and work on homework. The weather here in Georgia is very blah and rainy. So far, I am doing well in all three of my classes; I am very happy about this because I thought it would be a bit more stressful having three classes. However, I think I am going to have to drop out of OWLS because I just don't have the time to manage my classes and a club. :o(
This is a very busy month for me and it is going to be a sad one as well. While I will be traveling to Ohio next week so that I can get my daughter all the stuff she needs for our cousin's wedding, my mind however will be on my boyfriend. He is a Marine and deploys on March 30th heading for Afghanistan for a year. I am an ARMY brat and I bleed ARMY, so military life is not new to me in any way; however it is still hard to send a loved one over there. I am just going to dive into my school work and keep myself as busy as possible. Hopefully, this year will fly by so he can come home and I will be able to sleep at night again.

Welcome :o)
Well it is a chilly but sunny day here in the Atlanta area. I am excited because it is supposed to be rather warm the next few days, and eventually hitting the 70 degree mark next week. :o) School thus far, is going fine. My math class is a bit confusing, but I just need to apply myself and study a bit harder and I will be fine. I think I am going to have to work on my math when Ashlynne s asleep, because she distracts me. Otherwise all is fine. :o)
