It's not goodbye, but See you later!!!

I can not believe we are in our 10th week of term. The time just flew right on by, which for me is a wonderful thing. As we come into the summer months, I am eagerly trying to plan my move to North Carolina at the end of summer. By the looks of things, my boyfriend and I plan on having my daughter and I moved into our new place in September in Fayetteville. This way I can get the apartment settled and ready for when he comes home for R&R on October 4. My life will forever change for the better. He and I have been talking a lot about our future, so a wedding may be in the near future. :o) Also, my dad, step mom and baby sister will be moving there in October and my best friend and her boyfriend are moving there in November. I will have all my very important people there with me. It is going to be wonderful.
As far as school goes, I am still doing quite well. Thus far I have managed to maintain my GPA and keep my grades within the A range. So, I will be on the Dean's List again I am sure. This class has helped me quite a bit. I am a bit more confident when it comes to APA, while I still makes mistakes here and there, they are easy fixes. The paper we were required to write for this course gave me a migraine to be honest. Luckily I managed to get it to a point where I felt comfortable with handing it in for a grade, and I must say I am pleased with the grade I received. If I was to give any advice to a new student it would be to read the KU Handbook religiously. It is truly a tool that can be used throughout your professional and personal careers. I truly value that book, it has been very helpful. Also, I would say to not hesitate with asking questions. If you need help ask. Most likely there is someone else who may be having the same issue. It never hurts to ask for help.
So, as we come to the end of our 10th week of this term, I want to say it was a pleasure sharing this experience with everyone. I truly enjoyed the seminars and they were quite helpful. I wish you all good luck. :o)

Another term is coming to an end...

I can't believe this is the end of this term. I have done quite well in all three of my classes so I am pleased;just hoping that my finals will receive a great grade and my straight A's will continue. It is a rainy day here in Atlanta so its perfect homework conditions. :o) Things are going well in life. Much better than a few weeks ago I might add. I've learned that my boyfriend will be coming home for R&R from October 4 to November 18, so I am super excited for that. However, October is going to be a very busy month. We are moving to Fayetteville, North Carolina. While it is only a 6 hour drive from Atlanta, moving is still a pain. Well just wanted to do a quick update. Hope everyone is doing well. Enjoy your summer :o)

:o)

Can you believe that we are already in week 8 of classes for this term? It seems that time has just flown by at record speed. I am busy putting the final touches on two research papers, one for this class and then one for honors a and p. For the most part I am done just some minor tweaking and then I can hand them both to the writing center for the once over. I also have to do my final for my math class, however that one seems to be pretty easy all I need to do is make a five slide powerpoint which I am pretty good at. The warm weather is definitely here in Atlanta. The temperature has been steady in the 80s for the better part of the last two weeks. I love the warm weather...so glad the cold has gone away. I am anxiously awaiting my boyfriend's return from Afghanistan for his R&R. We have to make a trip to Fayetteville, North Carolina to figure out where we will be living. So sometime in September into early October I will be a resident of North Carolina. Where I intend to stay for quite some time because to be honest I am SICK TO DEATH of moving so much. Lol. Well I hope that everyone is well. I am doing much better this week than last. Have a wonderful week and see you all throughout discussion. :o)

Bad Bad Week!!!

Well between Wes being deployed and my daughter getting hurt while at her grandparent's in New York, I have had one heck of a week let me tell you. Thankfully Ashlynne is fine, but having to leave in a rush has effected my schoolwork for the past week. So I am struggling to get myself all caught up. Luckily it is not to difficult, it is just a matter of catching up my research projects. Hopefully by Tuesday night I will be caught up and can breathe again. I hope that everyone had a great Easter Holiday and that all is well.

One week down....

Well a whole week has gone by since my boyfriend shipped off for Afghanistan. This is honestly one of the most difficult situations I have ever been in. So far the time seems to be moving quickly, and I can't wait till July when he comes home for R&R. Bahamas here we come!!!!!!  I am for the most part still doing an excellent job with my classes, so that is a plus. However, today the sun is shining so I would much rather be outside than sitting here doing homework. I am having to worst case of writer's block when it comes to the drafts I need to write, not only for this class but for my honors A&P I class as well. Since they are both due this week, it would help tremendously if I could finish my papers and they are to my expectations. Well anyway, hope everyone is well. Happy Easter. :O)
